Hi, I’m Lexi🕷️ I’m the owner of Velvet Hex Waxing Studio and a licensed esthetician with 4 years of experience. Around here, you’ll quickly learn that I love making people laugh almost as much as I love making people smooth. (The dad jokes and waxing puns are complimentary.) Whether it’s your very first Brazilian or you’re a seasoned waxing pro, my goal is to make sure you feel comfortable, respected, and completely at ease from the moment you walk through the door. Who says self-care has to be serious? Around here, beauty comes with good music, bad puns, spooky vibes, plenty of laughs, and a space where everyone is welcome. My goal is simple: help you feel comfortable, cared for, and leave feeling confident in your own skin. Creating a space where people feel welcomed, seen, and genuinely cared for is the heart of why I started Velvet Hex. There is nothing better than helping someone feel confident in their own skin and reminding them they deserve time to take care of themselves. If you leave your appointment feeling beautiful, relaxed, and smiling a little more than when you walked in, then I’ve done my job. When I’m not in the treatment room, you’ll probably find me watching scary movies, listening to true crime podcasts, blasting music, or spending time with my two dogs, Pork Chop and Loki. I love the peaceful moments just as much as the chaotic ones, and I wanted my studio to feel like a little escape from the outside world. Velvet Hex is a place where you can exhale, be yourself, and forget about life for a little while. So whether you’re here for a quick brow wax, your monthly Brazilian, or just need an hour to unwind, I’m so happy you’re here. Cancellation Policy
***Cancellations & Rescheduling***
Please provide **at least 24 hours** notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Appointments canceled with **less than 24 hours** notice will incur a cancellation fee equal to 30% of the scheduled service(s).
Appointments may be rescheduled at no charge when requested **at least 24 hours in advance**; requests made with **less than 24 hours’ notice** will be subject to the cancellation policy.
Clients who do not arrive for their appointment without notice (“no-shows”) WILL BE CHARGED 100% OF THE SCHEDULED SERVICE TOTAL if same-day rescheduling is not available.
I understand that unexpected situations arise. Each client is granted up to **two emergency cancellations per calendar year** for circumstances such as illness, family emergencies, vehicle issues, or other unforeseen events.
***Arrival & Grace Period***
Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to allow time to use the restroom and prepare for your service. If you are more than **10 minutes late**, your appointment may be cancelled and treated as a late cancellation. Late arrivals may result in a shortened service time or the need to reschedule in order to accommodate other scheduled guests.
